5 CPEs

This one-day session is a follow-up to the intro session held at our GFOAz 2015 Annual Conference in February. The U.S. Census Bureau provides the most reliable source of data about Arizona's people and economy. This information is invaluable for many city departments when documenting data for a multitude of uses. Datasets such the American Community Survey, the only source of local statistics such as income, poverty, education, and language, will be featured, as well as the latest data tools. This will be an interactive session where participants will actually be accessing the website and working on several practice scenarios.
