Meet John Lloyd Bauer our new Financial Data Analytics Intern!
John Lloyd Bauer is a senior student at ASU majoring in Economics and Global Politics.He has also been tutoring economics courses for two semesters now, where he helps students understand the basics of econometrics, do regression analysis on Stata, and compare economies of different countries. John’s interests lies in research, specifically policies. He hopes to land a job in the research field after he graduates. John’s long-term goals are to either go back to school for a master’s or PhD and to work for a think tank or the Federal Reserve.
The Government Finance Officers Association of Arizona (GFOAz) Financial Data Analytics Internship will honor Arizona State University students who aspire to a career in public finance.
One GFOAz internship will be awarded to a student who has at least junior standing and who is enrolled at Arizona State University.
To be eligible, students must be working on a degree in accounting, finance, public affairs, economics, business or another related major. Additional criteria for eligibility are listed in the attached Student Internship Information and application form.
The GFOAz Intern will have the opportunity for a paid internship with Arizona State University where he or she will contribute towards the creation of a resource of governmental financial data for access by participating organizations.
